Smoke and Soot Damage in a Jacksonville Garage
Not recommended storage of flammable materials resulted in a quickly extinguished fire in this Jacksonville attached garage. Our SERVPRO challenge is to remove the oily soot from the surfaces along with the offensive pungent odors. We managed to use chem sponges to clean the walls and ceiling and then cleaned the epoxy surface to a new shine. We can paint the door and one wall that did not stand up well to the cleaning from this small fire. A hydroxyl generator and ULV ultra-light fogging eliminated the odors, and soon the After Photo make our customer very pleased with the outcome. We strive to restore and not replace building materials, saving money and inconvenience for our customers.
