Soot Cleanup and Salvaging Furnishings after a Jacksonville Fire
The house fire in Jacksonville coated many surfaces, assemblies, appliances, and furniture with a thin coat of dry soot. Some of our FSRT fire and damage restoration technicians worked on cleaning the structure, mitigating the fire loss, and improving the indoor air quality. Others, as depicted in the Before Photo, concentrated on saving the furniture like this white dresser from the scrap heap. Our facility has the capacity and equipment, and cleaning products to restore these items off-site. The advantage means a return of the furniture in excellent condition, clean surfaces, refinished if needed, and free of smoke odors. This pack-out also allows for greater access to cleaning the house.
